SUNDAY IN ARQUA' PETRARCA

During our visit to Arquà Petrarca last Sunday, I delighted in photographing everything that struck my attention. The striking glimpses of this ancient small village are numerous: its clumbered up alleys, the nature (there are many olive trees), the panoramic view from the hills, the peculiar little shops and taverns where you can find the famous "Brodo di Giuggiole" liqueur are only some of them.... come with us into this wonderful place!

Durante la nostra visita ad Arquà Petrarca domenica scorsa, mi sono divertiva a fotografare tutto ciò che colpiva la mia attenzione. Gli scorci suggestivi di questo piccolo borgo antico sono numerosi: i suoi vicoli inerpicati, la natura (ci sono molti alberi d'ulivo), la vista panoramica dalle colline, i piccoli negozi e le tipiche taverne in cui si può bere il famoso liquore "Brodo di Giuggiole" sono solo alcuni di essi .... venite con noi in questo luogo meraviglioso!

4 MARZO 1943

A city in turmoil for the mega concert dedicated to the great Lucio Dalla, which was held last Monday night in Piazza Maggiore in Bologna! Lady Cipria could not miss this event, and so we want to share this emotion with all of you who were not there ... Music coming from every corners, people poured from the many alleys of the historical center of Bologna towards Piazza Maggiore, the windows of the shops in the streets surrounding Dalla's house set up with his photos, discs, and many other objects for the occasion, the ancient "osterie" swarming of all-aged people... so, a magic atmosphere and great agitation that reached its climax with the beginning of the concert: we were flooded by the music... his music and we felt alive!!! Grazie Lucio!

Una città in fermento per il mega concerto dedicato al grande Lucio Dalla che si è tenuto lo scorso lunedì sera in Piazza Maggiore a Bologna! Lady Cipria non poteva mancare a questo evento e così vogliamo condividere questa emozione con tutti voi che non eravate presenti... Musica proveniente da ogni angolo, gente che si riversava dagli innumerevoli vicoli del centro storico di Bologna verso la Piazza Maggiore, le vetrine dei negozi nelle vie limitrofe alla casa di Dalla allestite con le sue foto, dischi e altro per l'occasione, le antiche osterie che pullulavano di gente di ogni età... insomma, una magica atmosfera e una grande agitazione che è culminata con l'inizio del concerto: siamo stati inondati dalla musica... la sua musica ci siamo sentiti vivi!!! Grazie Lucio!

RIDING MY BICYCLE WITH MY NEW SUPERIOR JACKET

Me and my bicycle are ONE thing... everyday I ride my bike throughout the city thus I need to wear something cosy and warm but trendy at the same time. This is one of my favourite outfit, perfect for my "high hurdles": the Superior dot jacket is my last purchase with sales (thanks to my dear friend Silvia's good advice!). I adore it for its versatility; in fact, it can be worn in many different ways: casually like I am doing here, stylishly with a dress or a long skirt or funny combining with chino pants!!! And you, how do you suggest to wear it?

Io e la mia bici siamo UNA cosa sola ... tutti i giorni attraverso la città a "cavallo della mia bici" e devo trovare degli outfit che mi permettano di essere comoda e calda ma anche trendy allo stesso tempo. Questo è uno dei miei outfit preferiti, perfetto per i miei "percorsi ad ostacoli": la giacca a pois di Superior è il mio ultimo acquisto fatto con i saldi (grazie ai consigli della mia cara amica Silvia!). La adoro per la sua versatilità; infatti, la si può portare in molti modi diversi: casual come in questo post, elegante abbinandola ad un vestito o una lunga gonna, o divertente con dei pantaloni chino! E voi, come suggerite di indossarla?

AT THE SPECOLA WITH MY YELLOW VAS BAG

This is one of my favourite place in Padova: the "Specola". It is the residence of the ancient astronomical observatory of the University of Padova. Every day I pass here and every time I feel that this spot of my city is striking for its ancient environment! This is the reason why we chose this city-corner as the location for our shooting with another VAS bag: the yellow one! Like a ray of sunshine, it is perfect to enlighten every outfit, don't you think?

Questo è uno dei miei posti preferiti a Padova: la "Specola". E' la sede dell'antico osservatorio astronomico dell'Università di Padova. Ogni giorno quando passo in questo luogo mi sento rapita dal suo fascino antico! Questo è il motivo per cui abbiamo scelto questo angolo della città come location per il nostro shooting con un'altra borsa VAS: quella gialla! Come un raggio di sole, è perfetta per illuminare ogni outfit, non vi pare?
