FUCHSIA!

At last Saturday, I can take a breath and have a walk with my baby Lola and my sons. It's a sunny warm day and I want to relax and think how to organize my next week. I'm following a new project in Miami, together with wonderful people.... Next week I'll have some meetings, to finalize the project. I'm so excited!!! I'm wearing a fuchsia vintage dress by Ungaro..... exactly bought in 1980. A piece of history! When I have to charge the battery, I wear this wonderful dress. The power of colours!

Finalmente sabato! Posso prendermi una pausa e fare una passeggiata con la mia baby Lola ed i miei figli. E' una bella giornata di sole e voglio rilassarmi e pensare a come organizzare la prossima settimana. Sto seguendo un nuovo progetto a Miami, insieme a persone fantastiche... La prossima settimana ho già fissato degli importanti incontri, per finalizzare il progetto. Sono così entusiasta!! Oggi indosso un abito color fucsia, un vintage firmato Ungaro... esattamente acquistato nel lontano 1980. Un pezzo di storia! Quando devo ricaricare le batterie indosso questo meraviglioso abito. Il potere dei colori!

MARIA CALLAS AT VINTAGEMANIA

Vintagemania celebrates Maria Callas with an exhibition of some of the most beautiful dresses of hers, at present belonging to A.N.G.E.L.O. Looking at the clothing collection you can feel the pathos and the emotions of a great lyric singer, but, above all of a woman who loved her man, Aristotele Onassis, unconditionally. I've always admired the courage of Maria Callas to love. Yes, because love needs courage, especially when the other part, in this case Onassis, never returned her love completely. Maria was for him a game and when he had conquered her heart, he left her for another woman. Maria had the passion inside, she was only guitly to have followed her heart. 

Vintagemania celebra Maria Callas con una mostra di alcuni dei suoi abiti più belli, che attualmente fanno parte dell'archivio di A.N.G.E.L.O. Guardando la collezione di abiti si percepisce il patos e le emozioni della grandissima cantante lirica, o meglio della donna che ama il suo uomo, Aristotele Onassis, incondizionatamente. Ho sempre ammirato il coraggio di Maria Callas di amare. Si, perchè l'amore richiede coraggio, specialmente quando non è completamente corrisposto. Maria è stata per Onassis un gioco e quando conquistò il suo cuore la lasciò per un'altra donna. La Callas aveva la passione dentro, fu solo colpevole di aver seguito il suo cuore. 

VINTAGEMANIA 5, BASSANO DEL GRAPPA

It was a great experience today at the Vintagemania in Bassano. Silvia our friend by Margi invited us and together with Lisa, my wonderful photographer, we enjoyed the time walking around the booths at the beautiful Villa Giusti del giardino. Here you are some pics about funny sunnies. I would have bought all! And you? Which one do you like the most?

E' stato veramente carino partecipare all'evento Vintagemania a Bassano. Silvia la nostra amica di Margi, ci ha invitate ed insieme a Lisa, la mia fantastica fotografa, abbiamo passato una giornata curiosando fra gli stand, allestiti all'interno della scenografica Villa Giusti del giardino. Ecco a voi alcune foto di occhiali molto originali. Li avrei comprati tutti! E voi? Quale preferite?

Smile!!! Never mind if the rain is falling, love is missing, work is harder, friends are leaving, time is running... but life is calling! There are so many reasons to be happy and evjoy the life! Don't waist your time to look back but look forward to a future that you can build as you want. In that way I feel free! :))

Sorridi!!! Non importa se la pioggia cade, se l'amore manca, se il lavoro si fa sempre più duro, se gli amici se ne sono andati, se il tempo passa inesorabilmente.... ma la vita preme! Ci sono così tanti motivi per essere felici e godere la vita! Non perdete il vostro tempo a guardare indietro ma usate questo tempo per guardare avanti, ad un futuro che potete costruire come più vi piace. Così, io mi sento libera. :))

WISH TO LEAVE

Have you ever had the wish to leave? To forget all and leave for a new country, a new place. It's long time I have this desire.... It's the feeling to start again, to reset a piece of my past and look for the future and afford a new brand day. Everybody makes mistakes but how much should I pay for mine? I feel the weight of my mistakes, or better to say somebody remind me daily every single mistake. Anyway, I MUST go on and redeem myself. Will I be strong enough?

Avete mai avuto il desiderio di partire? Di dimenticare tutto e partire per un nuovo paese, per un luogo sconosciuto. E' da molto tempo che ho questo desiderio... E' la sensazione di iniziare daccapo, di cancellare una parte del mio passato e guardare al futuro per affrontare un nuovo giorno di zecca. Tutti commettono errori ma quanto devo pagare ancora per i miei? Sento il peso dei miei errori o per meglio dire c'è chi me li ricorda ogni giorno. DEVO comunque andare avanti e riscattarmi. Sarò abbastanza forte per farlo? 

AT CABINET VOLTAIRE IN CONEGLIANO

 

A nice afternoon in Conegliano it was the one we spent last Saturday. After a short walk through the city centre to admire the wonderful shop windows of the elegant shops, we arrived at destination: Cabinet Voltaire Boutique. Alessia Zoppas, the creative owner, has arranged this pop up sale for friends and everyone with passion for Vintage... and Lady Cipria, that met her last year on the occasion of "Arsenico e nuovi merletti" (do you remember our post VINTAGE AND NEW DESIGNERS?), has been invited! The afternoon was spent drinking black tea Rhum flavoured and eating artistic Christmas cupcakes, listening to the music by Dj Roby "Chickenvase" Vasapollo and, above all, enjoying the singular pieces of designed vintage clothes. Marc Jacobs, Christian Dior, Moschino, Vivienne Westwood, Balenciaga and many many others were exhibited in the boutique. As usual, we had fun to wear sunglasses, bags, coats, dresses and we had the opportunity to have a long talk with Mario Borsato, an Italian couturier which has been a leading figure in the fashion world for over three decades... a big-name and a really nice person!!!

Un bel pomeriggio a Conegliano è stato quello che abbiamo trascorso Sabato scorso. Dopo una breve passeggiata attraverso il centro della città per ammirare le splendide vetrine dei negozi eleganti, siamo arrivati ​​a destinazione: Cabinet Boutique Voltaire. Alessia Zoppas, la "creativa" titolare, ha organizzato questa pre-vendita natalizia per gli amici e tutti gli amanti del vintage ... e Lady Cipria, che l'ha conosciuta l'anno scorso, in occasione di "Arsenico e Nuovi Merletti" (vi ricordate il nostro post e VINTAGE E NUOVI DESIGNERS), è stata invitata a presenziare all'evento! Il pomeriggio è trascorso allegramente a bere tè nero aromatizzato al Rhum e a mangiare artistici cupcakes di Natale, ascoltando la musica di Dj Roby "Chickenvase" Vasapollo e, soprattutto, ad ammirare i pezzi singolari di abiti vintage di firma. Marc Jacobs, Christian Dior, Moschino, Vivienne Westwood, Balenciaga e molti molti altri sono stati esposti nella boutique. Come al solito, ci siamo divertite a indossare occhiali da sole, borse, cappotti, abiti e abbiamo avuto l'opportunità di fare una lunga chiacchierata con Mario Borsato, un couturier italiano che è stato una figura di spicco nel mondo della moda per oltre tre decenni ... un grande nome e una persona davvero simpatica e alla mano!

Saturday, 22 December, Lady Cipria has been invited at "Temporary Vintage Christmas Sale" that exceptionally for Christmas and New Years Eve's, leads off to the new openingof CABINET VOLTAIRE, the new show room with a pop up sale of DESIGNED VINTAGE and SINGULAR PIECES.

We will be waiting for you on Saturday, 22 December: afternoon black tea Rhum flavoured with Chritsmas cupcakes. Dj set by Roby "Chickenvase" Vasapollo! Temporary will be opened on 22-23-24  December from 15.30 to 20.00 and Saturday 29-30-31 December from 15.30 to 20.00.

A winged wollen cloak by Suoli to feel like a bird; a Chanel handbag to feel like a lady of other times!
Our first "vintage laboratory" has come to an end for the time being... and all this has been possible thanks to Silvia by Margi and her exquisite taste for fashion! 

Una mantella "alata" di Suoli per sentirmi come un uccello; una borsa di Chanel per sentirmi come una lady d'altri tempi!
Il nostro primo "laboratorio vintage" finisce qui almeno per ora... e tutto questo è stato possibile grazie a Silvia di Margi e il suo squisito gusto per la moda!

WHITE AS SNOW

White as the colour of the snow: our vintage exploring continues with this nice and warm down jacket by Moncler. "Chance" is the name and it seems to refer to its double use: a hooded down jacket, edged by a soft fox hair for the harsh days that becomes an elegant down jacket for a special winter evening out... très chic!!!

Bianco come la neve: il nostro cammino all'esplorazione del vintage continua con questo piumino "bello e caldo" di Moncler. Il suo nome è "Chance" e probabilmente nasce dal suo duplice utilizzo: un piumino con cappuccio bordato da un morbido pelo di volpe per affrontare giornate rigide che diventa un elegante giacchino per una speciale serata invernale... molto chic!!!   

CHRISTMAS BAZAAR

“Christmas Bazaar”:  this is the name of the initiative organized by San Vincenzo Padova at Cultural Centre San Gaetano for gathering support to needy people… oh yes, Christmas is coming and what other best opportunity to help others? So that Lady Cipria has decided to take part to this event and try to contribute to this noble intent with its “purchasing power”…. or better “compulsive purchasing”!!! 

Artists and designers coming from all Italy exhibited their original and mostly unique “creations”: handmade jewels, bags, vintage clothes such as the ones by Diamante Zavagli Ricciardelli or the decorative customized letters by Chiara Bet, wrapped with handmade papers coming from India or Nepal… how beautiful (but to this artist we will dedicate a special post in the next few days... that's only a taste!!!).

After getting lost among the different booths and having put on "almost all" the items exhibited, the bangle with the big cross and some books for cuisine inside tin boxes have been our favourite presents….for Chrsitmas!

At least this time we had a “good” justification!!!

  

“Christmas Bazaar”: questo è il nome dell’iniziativa organizzata dalla San Vincenzo di Padova al Centro Culturale San Gaetano per raccogliere fondi per persone bisognose… e si, Natale sta arrivando e quale altra migliore occasione per aiutare gli altri? Così, Lady Cipria ha deciso di presenziare all'evento per contribuire a questo nobile scopo con il proprio “potere d’acquisto”… o meglio “acquisti compulsivi”!!!! 
Artisti e designer provenienti da tutt’Italia esponevano le loro creazioni davvero originali e soprattutto uniche: gioielli e borse fatte a mano, abiti vintage come quelli di Diamante Zavagli Ricciardelli o le “lettere” personalizzate di Chiara Bet rivestite con carte fatte a mano provenienti dall’India e dal Nepal… che meraviglia (ma a questa artista dedicheremo un post speciale nei prossimi giorni... questo è solo un assaggio!!!). 

Dopo esserci perse tra gli stand e aver provato "quasi tutti" gli articoli esposti, come quelli che vi mostriamo nelle foto, il bracciale con la grande croce e alcuni libri di cucina contenuti in scatole di latta son stati i nostri regali preferiti… per Natale!

Almeno questa volta avevamo una “buona” scusa!!!

DOLCE & GABBANA RED COAT

The emotions I felt when I wore this coat is unbelievable! First of all I adore this colour, red is the colur of passion, second it is a Dolce & Gabbana, third you can find only 20 pieces all around the world. I decided to wear this wonderful red coat with a simple pair of jeans and Valentino shoes, which remind me the shoes of dollies.

Noblesse oblige!

Le emozioni che ho provato indossando questo cappotto sono indescrivibili! Prima di tutto perchè adoro il colore rosso, il colore della passione, secondo è un Dolce & Gabbana e terzo ne sono stati prodotti solo 20 pezzi in tutto il mondo. Ho deciso di indossarlo con dei semplici jeans e un paio di scarpe di Valentino che mi ricordano molto quelle delle bambole.

THE IRRESISTIBLE CHARM OF VINTAGE

Margi, my favourite vintage shop in Padova has always the right piece for every occasion. I love to combine different pieces and get my own style. I don't follow the strict rules of fashion. I play with it, I have to feel free to choose what I like and Silvia (Margi owner) knows very well my attitude. Thanks Silvia, as always your advice is the right one! 
  

Margi è il mio negozio preferito di vintage a Padova, ha sempre il capo giusto per ogni occasione. Adoro combinare pezzi differenti ed ottenere così il mio stile. Non amo seguire le strette regole del fashion, anzi mi piace giocare con la moda. Devo sentirmi libera di scegliere quello che mi piace e Silvia conosce bene questa mia attitudine. ROBERTA DI CAMERINO, THE FASHION ICON

Today I feel very LADY! I mean, very Lady Cipria!! This coat by Roberta di Camerino, italian fashion icon, gives me lot of feelings.... Every vintage piece has inside a history, made by emotions and very interesting to know. The lady who bought this coat, about 40 years ago, should have been very stlylish. I am wondering when she wore it, for which occasions, maybe for a special appointment with her lover..... (my romantic side always appears) . Anyway, I am very curious to know what this piece can tell if it has a voice.... And you???

Oggi mi sento molto LADY. Lady Cipria ovviamente!! Il cappotto che indosso, firmato dall'icona della moda Roberta di Camerino, mi trasmette molte sensazioni.... Ogni pezzo vintage possiede una storia fatta di emozioni. La signora che lo comprò, praticamente 40 anni fa, deve essere stata molto stylish. Chissà quando lo indossò, in quali occasioni, forse per un appuntamento speciale con il suo amore..... (il mio lato romantico viene sempre a galla!). Comunque, sarei proprio curiosa di sapere che cosa mi racconterebbe questo meraviglioso cappotto se avesse voce...  E voi???

VINTAGE INSPIRATION

Our first outfit “coming out” from the collaboration with Silvia by Margi: here we are recreating a charm of the past thanks to this suit of clothes by Prada: a tweed sheat dress combined with a coat of the same fabric… what a luxury!

With the addition of some second-hand accessories, we obtain an outfit that tastes of "times past"! Do you like this interpretation?

Il nostro primo outfit ideato con la collaborazione di Silvia di Margi: abbiamo ricreato lo charm del passato grazie al completo di Prada: un tubino in tweed con cappotto coordinato sempre della stessa stoffa... che lusso! L'aggiunta di alcuni accessori di seconda-mano, ci hanno permesso di creare un outfit che sa di "passato"! Vi piace questa interpretazione?

We've already talked about her, she is an expert of vintage, very stylish, and very glamour. We always enjoy the time spent together, she knows the story of every piece in her shop! We are enchanted about her tales, that's one of the reasons that pushed us to start a project together with her. Mantengo sempre le mie promesse, così oggi Lady Cipria parlerà anche in lingua russa, a tal proposito voglio presentarvi Silvia. Una donna straordinaria, che viene dalla fredda Russia ma con un temperamento simile a quello di un vulcano, un concentrato di idee, un'esplosione di energia. Amante della moda, dei gioielli, delle auto di lusso, delle pellicce, adora passare il tempo con gli amici, soprattutto se sono amiche speciali come Lady Cipria. Silvia sarà un'importante presenza del nostro blog, ci racconterà del suo paese, della sua vita, dei suoi sogni.... della sua anima russa! Siate certi che vi entusiasmerà il tempo che passerete con Silvia, il suo sorriso è un dono di natura, riesce a sorridere anche quando le cose non vanno per il verso giusto, perchè prima di tutto è tremendamente positiva, solare e profondamente innamorata della vita. ne parlerò a breve. Ero circondata da gioielli, oro e diamanti …. come Marilyn disse: "i migliori amici di una donna!"

I miei occhi erano così incantanti dal colore dell'oro che oggi, aprendo l'armadio, ho scelto un cappotto molto “prezioso”, ispirato all'oro, super chic e perfetto per il mio brunch con una donna molto speciale, Silvia..... La intravedete nelle foto che seguono. Per ora vi dico solamente che viene dalla Russia ed è una new entry di Lady Cipria. Nei prossimi giorni inizieremo a scrivere anche in lingua russa. Molte amiche ci seguono dalla Russia, un paese che amiamo molto.

Yesterday, I had a successful meeting with an important jewelry company, I
will talk about it very soon. I was surrounded by jewels, gold, diamonds.... as Marilyn said: "the best friends of a woman!" My eyes were so enchanted by the colour of gold that today, I open my wardrobe and I chose this “precious” coat, gold inspiration, super chic, perfect for my brunch with a very special woman, my friend, Silvia... Catch a glance to her in the following pictures! I will only tell you that she comes from Russia and a she is the new entry of Lady Cipria. We will start in the next days to write also in Russian language. Many friends follow us from Russia, a country that we really love.

OUR FIRST ARTICLE ON A LOCAL MAGAZINE

Vogliamo condividere con voi la gioia del primo articolo dove Lady Cipria è stata menzionata! Ricordate l'evento "Arsenico e Nuovi Merletti" dove siamo state invitate da Margi? La proprietaria, Silvia, è stata la promotrice di questo articolo. E' solo l'inizio! Non possiamo certo essere comparate al successo di "The Blonde Salad"! In effetti "Pocket" è solo una rivista locale, ma lasciateci gioire di questa piccola soddisfazione! A volte seguiamo il forum di "Le Malvestite".... speriamo di risultare più simpatiche di Chiara Ferragni, perché per prima cosa non abbiamo un così grande successo e seconda cosa non vogliamo diventare fotografe!!! Vogliamo solo parlare delle nostre passioni come donne comuni, che hanno ancora il coraggio di sognare. Vogue sarà la nostra prossima apparizione!!! Un'altra cosa che ci piace tanto fare è scherzare..... :))

We want to share with you our joy for the first article, where Lady Cipria was mentioned! Do you remember the exhibition “ Arsenico e Nuovi Merletti” where we had been invited by Margi ? Thanks to Silvia, the owner, we had the pleasure to post our first press  survey. It's the beginning! We cannot be compared to the success of “The blonde salad”! In fact “Pocket” is a local magazine, but let us enjoy of this little satisfaction. As we sometimes follow the forum of "Le Malvestite".... we hope to have the chance to be nicer than Chiara Ferragni, because first we don't have such a big success and second we don't want to become photographers! We want to talk about our passions as common women, who have still the courage to dream. Vogue will be our next step!!! We forget to tell you that, we love joking.... :))
